Sandy Finlayson

Sandy Finlayson is a Partner in MBM Commercial. Over the years Sandy has been involved in all aspects of the creation and development of high growth young companies. He has played a significant role in the development of the informal finance (business angel) market in Scotland and his principal interests are start-ups and spin-outs, corporate finance, corporate governance and directors' duties and responsibilities and share/business acquisitions and disposals.
He has been involved with the Business Forum since it started in 1993 and completed two years as Chairman of the Business Forum East. He has served as an Edinburgh Committee Member of the Institute of Directors as well as a tutor in Company Law at the University of Edinburgh. He is a director of Lawshare Holdings Limited and Edinburgh Business Development Limited.
